Hi All,
Trying to resolve a problem on a glowworm 38 CX I. Turn on hot water runs for about 30 seconds then goes cold. I am thinking because is the flow sensor? Reason I am thinking this is there is no fault code and there is no reduction in the amount of water coming out hence why I am not look not looking at the heat exchanger.
I believe there was an issue with the flow sensors on some earlier models?
When the hot water is running the LCD display continuously shows the bar pressure and no increase in water temperature. This is why I am thinking it could possibly be the flow sensor?
Any help appreciated
Thanks

Flow sensor internals were modified to prevent intermittent sticking of the impellor turbine.
The originals have a white turbine (visible through the outlet)
The modified sensors have a black turbine.
the original sensors can be identified by the date code (on the sensor) from 4803
the modified sensors can be identified from the date code 1004

Is it the CXI or ultracom CXI,,,,Your probably right, You can unplug sensor harness at pcb and see if power coming back when u run hot tap that will basically tell you,,, is hw pipe stat ok, i know no fault but correct res accross, is everything on CH side workin fine,

Is the boiler just failing to rectify?
Or is it only a fault on hot water operation?

If failing to rectify completely, try running it after temporarily disconnecting the earth lead connection from the top of the condense trap.
I've had 2 glow worms in the past week where the condense was teed into the waste stack and back filled during the heavy rainfall. It threw me the first time because the condense had emptied by the time I got there, but the earth pin was still damp inside
