I'm going on a couple of glow worm courses in April... just for a laugh to be honest

the new courses are good mate - but they are all on the ultracom 2 . its just the cost of parts that puts you off - pcbs £185 where baxi ones £85. diverters £120 .fitted quite a lot of ultracoms as they are easy to fit and the landlord I do work for gets a good price on them -but now persuaded him to get duo tecs

Glad to know the courses are alryte. I am booked into the free one I believe. Not available until may though. A long waiting list a

2 day courses . all hands on. on the 1st day you strip dry boilers down removing major components. 2nd day fault finding and its quite in depth .I just wish they did the old cxi

I don't belive it another customer just called me a flexicom I fitted last year showing f1 they pressed reset and after 5 attempts f1 again .the last flexicom did my head in glowworm could not be 100% what voltage should be to the ign unit with the plug unplugged to check for dc voltage. they said 60 vdc but I was getting 90 . customer said can I look as glowworm cant come till Monday - its all time and money lost for nothing -just checking for a spark is fiddley
