Went to a job to fit a pcb that a lady had already bought after a ex heating engineer diagnosed the fault.
Got to job. glowworm micron. turned off and old board swung out.
So thought not going to test as customer isn't paying for my expertise just a bit of labour fit a board! Annoys me when they do this. Gets my back up
PCB fitted turned on customer says oh same fault lights flashing, As I can hear the fan stuck.
Sprayed with lithium grease off she goes noisy as anyting!

back tomorrow to fit new fan nearly £320 in parts on reck of a boiler plus my labour
Why don't people pay the going rate for a decent diagnosis ?
