Guys, need advice,

got a gravity hot water system, head is 12 m but had to install a pump because there is 4/5 Victoria style old baths which can be run at the same time this at moment makes the water die when 2 or more are run.

the pump installed blows over the expansion back into the tank, is there any quick ways to solve this eg prv on cold inlet after pump to reduce pressure, pump can't be varied off pressure.

or is there any safety valve which an be installed on the expansion which will stop pumping over but still a gas safety ?

Advice please

Pumps shouldn't pump into the expansion tank.....

I think there is a bit of confusion here or maybe its me!

You can pump ho****er to the bathrooms by installing a pump,

if your talking about water pumping over into the expansion tank this is a separate issue and your system probably has a few issues

where is the pump fitted? direct from top of cylinder before the vent pipe tees off?
if so fit it after??
maybe some pictures or a clearer description of where things are and what is happening would be good.

Re-read the post it was me....

I've lost the ability to read, expansion pipe not expansion tank, I am a doughnut,

Pump can't be fitted in the right position,

Now where is my gin and tonic and doughnut..

Hello
I had a client were a builder installed shower mixer for Low pressure systems.... water kept pouring through the expansion pipe.
I didn't study there system... so not sure if they had a pump... they just asked me to install a new shower mixer for them.
I installed a shower mixer designed for high pressure system... problem solved.

Not saying this resolve your problem, but a different angle to look at
