I have fitted a Nile 1.5 bar single pump to an electric shower for a customer. The pump will not start even though the tank is over a metre higher than the pump and the shower head is 2 metres below the pump.
Any suggestions?

Well I have never fitted a seperate pump to a electric shower, have always fitted intrigrated pump unit, would have thought the restriction through an electric shower may be to great to allow flow when turned on,thus not able to active pump, disconnect pipework just before shower and see if pump comes on then if so it is restrictive shower, would not have thought it would be good for the pump anyway if you do get it going
Triton and others do a electric shower with intrigrated pump to run off tank, this may have been the best option
