i went to exchange a pump set today at a nursing home.
last was there a month ago, grundfoss kindly organised a replacement while they fixed mine.
got the pump back, put it in, didnt work, tried to get hold of a technician ( these pumps have in built computer inducers and i was well stuck )
5 numbers i have for various techie and sales people, nobody answered, left lots of messages, nobody rang me back for three hours, during this time i tried re-wiring, checked control panel over, still no joy.
the building is owned by people who own over 500 similar buildings with over 700 grundfoss pumps. i rang grundfoss again made them aware of this and was still ignored. so no more business for them. apparently there about to go bust !!
anyway great techie rang me back eventually ( i owe him several crates of beer now) he sent me to shop to pick up a r100 unit

r100?? never heard of it

went to merchant borrowed a r100. a r100 is a tv remote control type gadget that grundfoss use for communicating with its devices.
i had to sit there for an hour reading a r100 instruction manual to make it communicate with a PUMP. this has to be done for commisioning all there inducer pumps.

what is the world coming to? tv remote controls to commision a circulating pump, we are going mad with all this technology.

rant,rant feel better.
cheers ian.

no more grundfoss for me.
