I have a Halestead 102 combo boiler that I have just changed the diaphragms for the CH, flow switch. I've also changed the diverted valve and various O rings and descaled the heat exchanger. The CH heating is working fine but the DHW is a bit hit and miss where the pin that activated the DHW micro switch only just touches the micro switch lever and if you wiggle the switch the DHW will kick in I know I could add a little packing to the micro switch lever which would work but seems like a Bodge job to do that. The pressure is just over 1 bar so should be enough for the diaphragm to activate the flow switch. I did notice the spring on the DHW pin was stronger than the old one but I put that as wear an tear. Any suggestions?

Regards Mark

This plumbing forum will not provide advice to anybody with regards to boiler repairs or any other form of gas plumbing without you first providing us with your Gas Safe Registration number in a thread - for very obvious reasons. If you're not qualified to touch gas, you should stay well clear of trying to!
