Halstead ace no hot water

hi guys just after second opinion. boiler works o.k for heating but no hot water. visual notices that pin on d.h.w isnt coming out far enough to touch micro switch and also pin for primary flow switch isnt coming out enough to touch primary flow switch. i removed both micro switches and manually pressing them both together and boiler does fire, heat goes down hot water. im sure its diaphram in brass flow switch, would this effect both flow switches:frown2:

you will find it difficult getting advice on here to repair a boiler concidering you are not gas safe, and so you should find it difficult
