Hi all, we've been having issues with our Halstead Finest Gold recently. Actually ever since the damn thing was installed 12years ago (4PCB boards and counting)

Anyway, recently it refuses to fire on demand with water, heating is fine and when the heating is running the hot water is too. Without the boiler running with the heating we have no hot water, it just refuses to trigger. The last time it did this it was the PCB and I'm wondering if there are any other things to look for before I order a reconditioned one?

I've checked the 2 micro switches and I think the diaphragm is fine. The plunger moves out freely when the hot water is turned on, even triggering the micro switch by hand doesn't fir the boiler.

What else can I check? I'm no engineer but more than capable of fixing stuff.

thanks
Mark

yes mark and your more than capable of killing lots of people through your ignorance! get a gas safe installer around! suppose your capabilities include all the necessary 26(9) checks and assessing the appliance is working as it should?..... KEEP UP THE GR8 work! 4 PCBS? lucky its not 14 years in prison and a dead family.
