I don't like Worcester boilers, because of thier plastic parts, cast hex and awkwardness of getting to things like the prv!

But.... Thier after sales are excellent. A friend of mine recently bought a new house ( 18months old) he asked me to look at it, as it had a drip coming from underneath. I had a look and it's the hex leaking! Had a look at the benchmark ( not filled in) rang gas safe ( not registered) rang Worcester ( not registered for warrantee!). Can't belive it got passed with building control?
I say to my mate, try ringing Worcester and just be honest. He does just that and they came out within three days,. Replaced the hex, warranted the boiler for 5 years from that point.

Well done Worcester 😎😎😎 I don't think any other manufacturers would have done the same.

thats why i love them no problems what so ever, just think of the problems you could of had with different companys eg ideal or villant etc

I am doomed with anything to do with the bloody things . Wont fiit them , wont go out to them anymore , turned one off for a service last sept , turned it back on , board blew , last straw no more !!! As said great service lol

Just the intimidating sticker on the hex "Here is how you service our boiler"
Seriously, does anyone ever clean out their hex with a brush on service? Just to change a bad gasket it takes good 30 minutes. 5 min job on pretty much on any other boiler. Taking the case off /on is probably only second worst to Biasi.
Whenever I called tech support guys on the other side was just as disinterested as any other manufacturer

I have absolutely no issues or Vaillant at all, even Baxi are good round here.
You can stick Worcestors where the sun don't shine, hate em.

Man after my own heart lol

I prefer Vaillant. Last Worcester boilers i worked on were falling to bits in my hands. Plastic innerds gone brittle

I think Vaillant have over complicated there boilers, the last model was better. Why on earth does it need that extra venturri?
And the set up process is mental, why so many options?

I haven't tried the NEW ones as in latest.
I like the ecotec plus and pro.
Half my work is commercial so i'm not always working on domestic Boilers.
What are the issues with set up? is it more complicated than it needs to be ?
What extra venturi?

There's an electronically controls venturri in between the gas valve and the burner.
The options in the setup are endless, it has communication issues. One part of the boiler won't talk to the other sometimes!
They're also suffering from noisy flame lift, and the phone techs won't tell you how to solve it! I had to prize it out of an engineer.

F75,s been around a while. Had an f73 the other day! Same part or loom.
I'm getting noisey ones, intermittent. Luckily enough all the new ones are still in warranty.
