I need to fit a oil tank 6 meters above the boiler and the manufacturer states if its over 5 meters then a head breaking device needs to be installed yet ive never heard of this. Anybody know what this is?

I've always taken a tigerloop as a head breaking device. I maybe wrong but would like to hear everyone's opinions on it.
