Hi, I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me as I'm getting a bit exasperated on this one...
I've got a glowworm boiler which is just under 2 years old. It's always had low pressure (registering just above 0 bar on the gauge!) but has worked so I've left it.
However, a week ago it stopped working and gave me an F11 fault warning - the plumber came and serviced the boiler and said that it was a problem with a faulty pressure release valve that he'd sort at a later date.
The next morning my downstairs neighbout tells me I have a leak - I lift the floor boards and see there's a leak in one of my pipes - the plumber then fixes this leak and also re-checks the boiler which he now says is caused by an air block in the system, which he drains and fills with Senitel X400.
However, the next morning the pressure has dropped to zero bar again (and if I re-fill the tank to get the pressure up again, it then drops again over the following 12 hours or so). In addition I now have loud gurgling and banging in my pipes whenever my heating is on, and I also have loads of air that I needed to bleed in my radiators (even though they were only bled a day and a half ago).
Can anyone suggest what's up? Any help would be great!
Cheers,
Dave
