I'm wanting to design & fit heating circuit to about 7 or 8 rads from a wood-burning stove. Home project.

It won't be heating DHW so I'm thinking I'll need a large rad in room above burner for a heat leak & can set up the rest to pump round the house.

Only had experience of adding a rad to an aga DHW pipes and minor jobs on solid fuel systems so feeling slightly daunted at putting in system from scratch.

If anyone feels they want to point out any pit-falls, tips or advice on where to research, I'd really be grateful.

Cheers.

Reason for not going for hot water is: I've a hot water set up at the other end of the house working off an old oil boiler. This has no heating connected. Eventually when this packs up I might add hot water to this new solid fuel system or a separate smaller one. but I'm really loathed to shift the cylinder & tank into a bedroom at the other end of the house which is where it would have to be for good circulation from new stove. Does that make sense?
