Just a quick intro from a partially snow covered Cornwall.

I ran into this site while looking for plumbing training and while reading through some of the training posts have certainly had my eyes opened somewhat.

Years ago I worked on the trade counter of a large builders merchant and picked up a lot of the basics by being asked questions by our customers. I've put this into practical use in the flats and houses I've lived in over the years but now think it's time to train and do it for real.

Although I realise that no fast track courses will give a full insight into every aspect of any job, I'm not sure I can afford 4 years full time at college so will almost certainly be asking loads of stupid training related questions in the not so distant future.

Thank you. So far so good but the whole training thing looks like a minefield.
