Hi everyone,
My name is ben as you will see from my username, just a quick post to say hello and hopefully to gain a bit of advise from the more experienced.
I am 22 years old currently in full time employment working 4 days on 4 days off and very happy with work.
The reason i am here, and considering plumbing is merely for the future, i have always liked the idea of being skilled in a trade and in the next 6-7 years the kids will be at school full time so i may have a fair bit of time on my hands which i could use productively.
I would like to know some personal opinions on which trade would be best for my circumstances, i like the idea of both plumbing and electrical work but i am unsure which route to go down. My opinions are that plumbing would result in more smaller jobs as plumbing goes wrong more often than electrics (please correct if i am wrong) whereas electrics are normally (not always) larger jobs. I feel that i may be able to secure more work in the plumbing business.
I am happy to hear anybodys thought
Thanks for your time
Ben
