Hi James, Welcome to the forum, personally this is a great idea, I love to fill the bath to the overflow and with this when the water gets moved about and drains out it will self top up. Even better, turn off the cold and use it to just top up the hot 🙂

A Nova-Flo won't automatically self top up as it works differently to a toilet style ball valve - If water goes through the overflow the water supply to the taps is shut off and has to be manually reset by turning the taps off and then on again. Ideal for forgetful bath fillers but it might not be exactly what you are looking for! Have you seen Thermasure's device to reheat the water in the bath?

Ah, no use for me then, and I'm not putting any heater in the bath thankyou - not after trying the hairdryer to make a jazzuzi.. but seriousally, is your product assuming the overflow wont contain the fill rate? they have in all my houses so far..

Opps; I should have said ballcock float valve - not toilet style ball valve...

You got it. Many properties which use a pumped supply have this problem - more water going in than can escape down the little overflow outlet.
Hotels have the biggest problems and more to lose if rooms are out of use whilst drying out.
I hear a number of towns and villages at the foot of a valley will have tremendous water pressure and often have very fast filling baths too.
