Hi,

Just joined and have been working in leak detection for the last few years, I have PM'd one of the admin's as (I guess like most of us) I don't want to ride into a conflict of interest as trading off this forum.

Over the last few months we have been getting a bit hacked off with rip off merchants trading as 'leak detection' or 'trace and access'. They just pile in an burn the limit (normally £5000!) and pretty much make a mess.

We set-up as 'no-find no-fee' and decided we did not want to take on much of the repair work, customers have (or should have!) a local plumber and it's tight enough without poaching customers we are not local to and cannot react to when they have another problem as leak detection is more 'urgent' than 'emergency', unless it's upstairs and then you don't need us!

I won't put a link, in case I'm treading on a forum land mine, but any questions on what kit can be used etc, I'm happy to help.

Andrew
