Thanks VM, does it have any maintenance requirements with those big screws? Looking for a cause of pipe flow turbulence.

previously quiet pipework has recently developed noisy vibrations, sometimes severe, which moves around the system over the day/s. Usually subsides once another tap is slightly opened. Want to locate what might be generating this turbulence.

Might be worth checking the ball valves in the toilet arnt slowly dribbling/ running as that can cause water hammer

nope not the cistern. So back to these. Would please identify this part, so if I replace the old for new is it just a new pressure valve I need or something else as well?
