Help, does anyone know how to alter the maximum temperature for the central heating hot water in the engineering menu ? It used to be able to go up to 85 C but the last Ferroli engineer we had out has reset it to 70 C. This is just not hot enough in mid winter and the user manual says it should be 85. I'd be happy to set it to 75.

If this is the only issue ur having with the optimax I'd be thanking my god if I were religious.

You can adjust the hot water temp and heating temp by just pushing tap symbol or rad symbol on front of control panel and pressing plus or minus buttons below, the temp is displayed as you change, the heating can be set up to 90' however think you are good at around 70' as set,the less temp you can live with ,the lower the bill

imho

No I cannot set it higher than 70. I know the manual says up to 90 and it used to be able to do that before the Ferroli engineer fixed it. There must be a maximum setting in the engineers menu, but I don't know how to get to it. 70 is just too low in the depths of winter to keep the house warm enough. I only want to be able to set it to 75. Remember the amount of heat that a radiator emits is proportioinal to the square of the temperature so a small rise to 75 gives a large increase in heat output.

Sadly, customers are no longer allowed to speak to the technical department directly; you'll have to speak to the customer services department and they'll pass on the message :-(

hold reset for 10 secs ts shoud come up then hold reset for 1 sec the you can put your code in think its p11 for temp use central heating +/- to scroll and dhw +/- to adjust
