My boiler is a couple of years old and the pressure has dropped below 1. I know that I need to fix the flexi pipe to the two connection points and then turn a valve.

However I have no idea where/what I have to turn. There are no black taps either on the pipe or on the boiler. I am sure when the engineer showed me it was a small copper screw that says on/off, however I have tried to turn that and it will not turn either way.

Am I trying to turn the wrong thing ... or is the screw stuck?

Once you have attached the flexible hose look for flat screwdriver slot on one of the chrome bodies that the flexi hose attaches to.

Then, using a flat headed screwdriver turn the slot slowly until you hear water run and look at the guage rise.

Return the slot to the starting(off) position once correct pressure is reached.

yes that would do it steve one of those machines with big grabbers on shake it to bits
