Looking forward to supporting anything I can. I specialise in underfloor heating, floor screed & polished concrete.
Glad to help where I can.

Hi all, I'm looking into becoming a Plumber and how to go about it, would really appreciate your thoughts...

Im living in London, in NW10. I want starting to study plumbing and heating in the North West College of London and i am a bit lost.. I'd like to know if anyone knows about this college.
I've got the exam the follow next week of english and maths and after that i should choose the right course.
Im very interested in Plumbing and Heating and starting a new career in my life.

I just would like you opinions about it. About this college in Dollis hill north west london, or if you know a different way to study. I dont mind spend 2 or 3 years. I just want to become a professional in the trade. Thank you for the help! I very appreciate it.

By a strange quirk of history Doncaster is owned by Scotland... or so i read
Welcome aboard 🙂

Welcome. Out of interest do you go under kitchen units with ufh pipes incase they move in future or around? I've allways gone around but uponor say under.

The system I supply consists mainly of kit from Reliance in Worcester (RWC) - stainless steel manifolds, digital control. Pipe is PERT-AL-PERT - once bent it stays put. Then the method if installation is dependent on the floor structure; clip rails & staples for a solid floor and staples for the first floor although it does depend on the type of joists!

If there is a chance of the units moving in the future then go under but make sure the customer is not storing food in the cupboard - or worse make sure the litter bin is not in the cupboard - chance of going smelly!!
Strictly speaking is the units are never likely to move - don't go under them.
