Evening all.. I've been looking at this site for the past couple of days and already got some realy interesting feedback. I'm another career changer. I'm 43 and have a mortgage, so can't aford the time to do a full-time course and not work. I'm looking at T4T, OLCI and others, so any info would be much appreciated.
I am in the very fortunate position of having a mate who's a semi-retired 30 year serving plumber and who is willing to let me work with him once I've done the basics, so I'm planning to get all I can from one of these courses and then start the serious learning with someone who knows the job inside and out. Not quite so scary as those brave souls who are going it alone, but I know I'll have to work damned hard to come up to scratch.

Any feedback on training in Scotland (I'm in Glasgow) would be much appreciated too.

Thanks for your interest.
