Hi I'm Kelli. I've recently started on a plumbing course/apprenticeship with Trades Gateway. Expensive option I know but it gives me the qualifications I need whilst allowing me to carry on working and paying the mortgage and fitting around family life. I've looked into it and can't do that with college. What I am hoping to do is offer free labour to local plumbers/firms in return for on site experience alongside my course. Any help or advice with this would be much appreciated. Cheers in advance!

Hello, all the best. Unfortunately the market is flooded with people offering free labour, just look through this forum and you'll see. I'm not trying to discourage you, but do your homework and see how many plumbers there are in your area

Thanks...I know I'm aware of that :/ it's one of the reasons I chose Trades Gateway as you get the on site experience and apprenticeship offered as part of the course. I have quite a lot of friends in various trades too so I'm hoping to get a good word put in and find someone brave enough to give me a chance 😀
