hi my names jay i live in cheshire ive wanted to be a plumber for a long time now and im currently studying with Train for Trade Skills im really wondering what the qualifications gained on this course mean for my chances of getting work as a plumber?

City & Guilds 6022-02 Copper Pipework Installation
City & Guilds 6032 - Sanitary accommodation installation, maintenance and design
BPEC - Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999

Hi my name is Alan and I live in Essex and have been considering joining the Train4Trade and would be intereseted to know how you are doing and if it is living up to your expectations would also be interested in the replies re the relevance of the qualifications in the plumbing world

C&G 6022 and 6032 are not worth much if any thing now they have been superseded by C&G 6129
 
the 6129 was put in place as part of the "modern apprentiship" after Thacher ended the real apprentiship scheeme in the 80's. The only difference is that the 6129 has a practicle assesment for leadwork, which is kinda outdated today anyway. I trained with ATL through train 4 trade skills and i found employment right away.
