High Pressure Taps

I'm in the process of buying a new kitchen and the type of taps we want only seem to be suitable for a 'high pressure system'. Based on what I have read, I have a low pressure system (tank in loft, hot water tank in airing cupboad, and condensing boiler in kitchen).

However, our water supply, both cold AND hot absolutely blasts out of the taps in our kitchen. Although I know very little about plumbing I don't think anyone would describe it as low pressure. Hot and cold only seem to need a slight turn - any more and the splashes soak you!

So, can I safely ignore the advice in all of the brochures and choose one of these high pressure taps or is there something I'm missing which means these taps won't work on our system?

welcome jarvis,
you need to check the min flow rateing of the tap model.
if its above .5bar it wont work properley.
flow is diffrent to preasure, be aware.

OK thanks. I'll see if I can find out the flow rating. I must admit not to really understand the difference between flow and pressure but I'll take an expert's word for it!
