any HND courses in our industry? I am doing HNC Construction at the moment, starting 2nd year in september, was thinking of either doing a Higher course in Mechanical Engineering & System design if it is possible.

I did a mechanical engineering degree 20 odd years since but not to sure what todays equivalent is, maybe a level 5

I was already working which is probably why it took nearly 6 years to achieve. But it has put me in a good position to do what I want to do today

its something i will definetely look into, hopefully i can go straight into the HND Course with my HNC Construction lol.

Looking at entry requirements they are wanting A level in maths or science, thing is when I was at school i was a right rogue so my school grades aren't worth much, so hoping with my SVQ3 and soon to be HNC then I could further my education in a specialist subject, preferably Engineering anyway.

I was lucky Iv`e got 4 brothers and 4 sisters the last place I wanted to be at was home ! so I went to school because I enjoyed the peace. Lucky enough I enjoyed school also and did do quite well with my grades

yes well wouldnt my SNVQ3 and HNC overshadow my school grades though ? I'm not stupid I just didnt like school and spent my time in the park instead of in class lol
