Holidays this year.............

I am interested in where everyone is going this year.....

We've got two holidays booked a cheap and cheerful holiday to Egypt a bit of Scuba diving but generally lounging about the pool eating ice cream and drinking beer...

However, my girlfriend is 40 this year and has decided that she wants to do a bit of trekking, a couple of years ago we went to Peru,

NOW, we're trekking to Everest base camp and Gyoko lakes.......

A bit energetic for a holiday but that is what she wants to do, that is before I try and change her for a younger model.......

So, where are you all off to????

Done gites in France by car for last 2-3 years. Spain this year (villa) and are hoping for some hot weather this time round!

what we done last year,took the lad up to Birmingham to see what was left of longbridge(hes a car nut and has always wanted to see it)took the wife shopping in the bullring,sad i know but did all this on a sunday work always gets in the way of family life but you need the work to support your family unless your lucky enough to make enough profit to take a week or two out i have never found how to do that to my regret,the kids are young only once

I've developed a fear of flying in the last few years, which is weird - as a kid I loved flying.

Last year we went to the father in laws villa in Spain. We flew, but I can't see me flying again for a while.

This year we're probably going to rent a house in France and drive...I just don't feel comfortable with the idea of sticking my kids on a plane. Crazy I know. Was telling a mate who's kids are the same age, 3 and under. He said he felt the same.

Anyway, I'd love to go to America again, love the states...

No holiday for 9 years....thats bad mate. Hope you get away soon. We all need a short break in the summer.

puerta ventura at the end of may kids first time on a plane only for a week then Egypt 27 dec for mi annual holiday with my sister n bloke then uk just away in the caravan to some good **** ups , and hopefully another couple of trips up nevis

superb you would love on a plane with my boys, when we were going to portugal 3 yrs ago (when they were 7) a woman across the aisle from us was really, really shaking and upset just before the plane took off, one of my boys said to her "you should have sat at the back of the plane", "why" she asked, "cause aeroplanes NEVER reverse into mountains" he said with a straight face, i actually thought she was going to burst into tears

dorset for a week using the sun's 9.50 holidays. done that for the last 4 years always have a great time. and then a week in spain all inclusive normally cost us around £1600.00 for 4 of us.

I got my own diamond DA40 for fun and we can travel to most places , but the kids love butlins at bognor so we are thier again this year. happy days
