Advice please.

I have a Honeywell 3 way valve 40003916 -003., which when CH & HW are demanded for at the same time, from the programmer, Only HW will kick in. Once the water has reached its required temperature, the Heating will come on.

Individually, CH & HW works O.K.

Can anyone offer any advice? Could it be a sticky valve ? or is it electric connections?

if memory serves they are hot water priority.

they electrically move to heating/both and spring back to HW

Does it work on individual channels?

Hi! Jim

Sounds obviously like its failing on mid position. Test valve motor and circuits.

If it was working what has changed to make it not work?

It should rest at A and leave hot water port B open.
