Hi There.
Advice Needed. I have a BAXI 33 HE DUO TEC Boiler. It has worked well for the last two years.
It has now developed a fault, didnt expect problems with it soooo soon.
When the hot water tap is opened the water cycles from hot to cold and trying to have a shower or bath is becoming a big problem🙁
I have checked the boiler with the help of a friend, this is what we know about the problem.
When the hot water tap is opened the water temp guage at the boiler showes about 70 c temp burner works constent, but the water at the tap cycles HOT COLD HOT. The water outlet pipe at the boiler remains warm and can be held with your hand. However the diverter valve gets red hot, to hot to touch and the radiators start to warm up.
My friend was adermant it was a defective Diverter Valve Motor.
Which I replaced but this hasnt helped.😡 SOME PLEASE HELP.
