hot water but no heating ??

hot water but no heating ?? Aldershot Hampshire

I have a potterton profile boiler, its heating the water fine, but i tried to turn the heating on last week and the boiler fires intermitantly, it comes on when it should last for 3 or 4 mins and then goes of again for 3 or 4 mins and so on, my radiators are all cold is this a boiler problem or a radiator problem... any ideas ?

could be a variety of things, pump, thermostat or a valve, call a registered engineer in to diagnose correctly, good luck
