Hi im a young plumber working on a council maintenance contract, also new to this forum. I have come across an old copper hot water cylinder with a small, built in cold water storage tank above with plastic lid. This tank has a lot of limescale in as we're in the south east. There is no problems with water flow out of the cylinder but the on site caretaker is worried about health risks caused by this scale. I dont think there is but are there any risks associated? And if so what is the best way to descale and clean or is it easier to just replace? Thanks
