Hi All, Can someone please give me some advice. I have a Worcester combi boiler ( oil fired). My hot water pressure has slowly got very bad, to a dribble. Th epressure gauge is normally around 1 bar. I picked up the expansion vessel and discovered it is full of water....is this normal or is this the problem.

many thanks...Aim001

The expansion vessel is on the heating circuit not the hot water so has no relevance to this problem.

You're looking at a blockage, possibly scaling of the heat exchanger.

almost certain to be a scaled up domestic heat exchangerreal bithch to change on some older worcesters
exspansion vessel not relevant to this problem but yes it will contain water while the system is preasurised

Just sorted a similar problem, removed ball valve from hot water pipe to kitchen sink and was rammed with scale. Likewise valves to other appliances. Worth a check at least.
