Any advice appreciated.

This morning, I went to run a bath and found that hardly any hot water was coming out. Just trickling. It took ages to fill just a few inches deep. I have a copper boiler and a new flex was fitted to it a while ago with a valve which when turned using a flat-head will stop and start the flow of hot water. I attempted to turn the valve to see if this was the problem but it is never touched by anyone at home and this was not the problem. I am wondering if there might be a blockage in the pipe somewhere. This has just literally happened and have not had this problem before now. The boiler is situated behind the bathroom and the copper pipes do not run far to the boiler.

Thank you for your reply.

I have a victorian type shower head with one tap two adjustments for cold and hot. The cold comes out fast as per normal, but when switching to hot it just trickles out.
There is a small flip handle which turns left to right when using show head, then to left for opening up flow for bath. I have push this as far as possible to let the flow of water out, but won't go any further. Either way, it trickles from shower head and from tap regardless of setting.

Airlock? Set the diverter to 'bath', Open the hot flow, cover the outlet with your hand to stop water flow and turn on your cold. Let it run for a bit then release your hand. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
