hot water

hay all just signed up glad to be here, got a bit of a strange one a friend of mine rang me up she just had a new boiler installed by a cowboy i think, she has no hot water and the guy told her the only way for her to get hot water is to switch on the central heating is it possible that this guy has wired the hot water into the central heating circuit somehow im going to have a look at it but would appreciate any theories anyone might have.

Were going to need more information to give an opinion. Such as make & model of boiler for a kick off.

if you are gsr why ur friend did not get you to do the work ....if friend of me gets work done by some one else I will not go and fix anything. to be honest NO WAY I WILL TURN UP

same i wouldnt get involved let them sort the problem out. what sort of systems is installed?
