dear all, sorry for this silly question,i am not good at plumbing really, still at training, i am going to convert a conventional boiler to a combi boiler, there is a secondary hot water on the side top, i am thinking to just connect it with hot water from top of the old cylinder, is this ok? i dont quite know how secondary hot water works to be honest,

i had the fast track training, i did spent 3 month in trainging center on plumbing, maybe they did mention this kind of open vented cylinder, but missed this part because my english is not so good, sorry for disturbing you if this is too silly question..

No No No No No.

Just leave it alone until you have enough training and experience to actually know what you are doing.

Think of the words of wisdom that Alexander Pope once wrote - "A little learning is a dangerous thing"

I don't think any wind-up merchant would actually post that as they would think it would be far to unbelievable for anyone to be duped by. By my logic it's gotta be genuine! :nonod:

Maybe I've missed something but I'm slightly confused...you say you are in training yet in a previous post (hw doesn't work without central heating) in this forum you installed a megaflo & baxi system boiler. Are they GSR trainees now??
