Hi all - sorry for newbie question - please go easy on me!
Have a nice looking Aqualisa Midas 220 but recently has become badly fouled internally. I've removed and cleaned the filters on the hot and cold inlets to no avail and now I'd like to remove the cartridge to clean/replace. Removed end cap. Unscrewed small central screw. Now can not remove cartridge. Suspected that there might be a locking grub screw but there isn't. The whole shower bar seems to be a mono-block of stainless steel with no obvious retaining screws or fixings to retain the cartridge. Have tried a fair bit of brute force and am now wondering if I'm missing a trick? Or is it more likely just to be jammed solid with limescale?
Hopefully you can detect the slight note of panic in my typing as I currently have no shower and no obvious solution other than completely replace!
Cheers
Ken
