hw but no ch

vaillent combi compact fires up for hw but when calling for ch alone fires up for a few seconds then goes out? any suggestions welcome!

Hi, sounds like you have a blockage in the central heating circuit, or the diverter valve isnt passing to the rads. A combi with a domestic hot water heat exchanger locks itself off from the rads and its output is given through the hotwater. When CH is selected that heat is then pumped into the rads, no circulation then the boiler reaches temp v. quickly then shuts down. Whats the GC number?

Hi, Your boiler uses a water valve which may be stuck. Take him out and clean/replace. Check for flow in CH system is poss.
