Hi, i have 2 radiators that wont heat up! I have bled all the system but to no avail! Just wandered wether this cd b a sludge build up? As both rads have drainoffs and im pretty sure they are the last ones on the run! Any help would b greatly appreciated, many thanks marc.

Thanks for your quick replys! Yes i have checked the pins there fine! Turned all other rads off exept the offenders and turned heating on full to try push warm water through but this not working either! My next step will b to isolate and remove rads and flush through? And again thanks for your help it is much appreciated

Just occasionally water can be pulled through by opening the bleed valve for a minute or so - it's something I try before removing the radiator.

just because the pin moves doesnt mean the valve isnt stuck shut shut the other end and vent into a bucket for a couple of mins if its stuck shut it will stop running in a few seconds

if he takes off rad he could check if the valve opens, you may be right steve

Hi, thanks for replys guys, managed to get 1 to heat but only when i switch off all the working rads, this seems to force ater through 1 of them! As soon as i turn the other rads back on the offending rads start to cool! Thanks for any help it is much appreciated, marc

Thanks!! Thats the opposite sides of the thermostatic rad valve isnt it? And whats the best way to address the balancing issue? Never really touched that side ov the rads, thanks for your help, marc

Even if there are too many rads for pump, when you turn rest off, those two should work. It's a probably a blockage of some type, making flow slow, or can be circulating pump failing(this is rare but can happen). Make sure when balancing, that you balance pipes to hot water cylinder, if you have one. Also bypass valve, if one fitted, needs set right.
