I've been having problems with a Ideal Evo 35kw combi, it's very similar to a Isar. When running a hot water tap, no hot water was being produced and the heating flow was getting hot instead, so I changed the cartridge inside the diverter valve, still no hot water, which was strange because it's always the cartridge in the diverter valve!

The actuator on the Evo is not the grey Honeywell but a black one instead. What I have noticed is when you switch the boiler on the actuator (when removed) goes through a proving stage, the spindle goes backwards and forwards.

When a hot tap is opened the boiler fires up, displays the 'd' sign for hot water on the boiler control panel but doesn't make the actuator spindle operate the spindle on the diverter valve.

I've checked the dhw thermistor which is operating fine, I don't think it's down to the actuator which I automatically thought after changing the cartridge. So could it be down to the pcb?

Any help would be appreciated!
