Hi,

Our boiler has started leaking from the diverter valve, Its only a very slow drip. The drip is coming from around the pin that the the actuator moves

I have been looking around for a replacement parts and have found that you can buy just the cartrage for about £30.

I am asumming that the rubber seals have gone inside, can you buy replacement seals ie replace the o rings? or is replacing the cartrage better?

I would replace the boiler if i wor you 😛resents2:

Ta for that . I know its a crap boiler but I cannot afford to replace it.

I think I have been lucky with this boiler (touch wood) as this is the first problem we have had with it, I was in the house when we bought it over 5yrs ago and I don't know how long it was in before so its done well from what I have read about it.

Hi,

I have read somewhere that Baxi and Ideal parts are the same but I cannot find where I have read this.

Will
the Baxi Combi HE Plus Diverter 3 Way Valve Body PART NO. 247310 fit the Ideal boiler?

Thanks for any info

best advice is to pay for an engineer to do it and when it leaks all over your pcb youll have someone to blame rather than yourself

Yeah I under stand that problem as its very close to the controller board.

Can you confirm wither this part will fit the boiler?

Thanks

If you need help don't come to this forum very rude and would not recommend to anybody.
