Ideal istor immersion heater

Hi Fokes, wondered if anyone knew the best way to change the immersion on an Ideal Istor HE325. The immersion has decided to start leaking from the seal and needs replacing. Unfortunatley it looks like a right arse to change. Just wondering if anyone has much experience with these?
