just installed one today. great boilers to fit must say. just one thing i noticed with it when i came to analyse it was the ratio was 0.0015. i know its below the trigger value, but it just seems high for new install. fitted the heat only version other day and ratio was 0.0002. are the combi logics known for this.

I installed one and had a similar reading to you, I'm going back tomorrow so will analyse again to see if it has changed.

Not in my experience. They all seem to be around 0.0003/0.0004 ratio.

gas rate spot on, air intake spot on. gas pressures spot on. The only other concern i have with them is how far the flue sits into the elbow. im used to baxis is all. im new to these ideals just thought i would give them a try.

I'll retest mine tomorrow, I wondered if they just need to run for a bit to burn off anything in the burner/heat exchange. Of course that could be a load of rubbish ha ha

How long had you run it for before testing? I've had those kind of readings before and tested an hour later and it's back to .0008 or below. Fitted around 80 logic+ and didn't have many issues at all. Rattling pressure gauge which they seem to of sorted out. And the odd blocked filling loop.

certainly didnt run for hour before analysing it. probs about 10-15 mins.

Will they sort the gauge under warranty?

Those sort of readings are perfectly normal for a logic+ in my experience. As has already been said, they do tend to come down a bit after some use.

It will be a no brainer if they didn't. Only cost about £13. I bought and replaced one for my customer in Sutton, but I only did so to ''teach'' him a lesson. He had ignored my messages about servicing boiler when it's first dervice was due. Two months later, he called, so I charged him extra for replacing the pressure guage

Way way bellow the 0.004 action level.
If sure gas, flue and all other checks ok. Move on.
We can dwell on things too long.
