Hello just looking for help with what's a reasonable price to pay for this boiler.. Quoted £570 seems reasonable to me. What do you all think?

No I wasn't clear, I'm buying the boiler for myself.. So that's just to buy the boiler & standard horizontal flue.

Hi very cheap price, ideal are slashing the prices on logics they need the money.look at the other brands they never drop the price, might get extended warranty/flue or clock but ideal are giving aload away,I used to fit logics but had my customers had poor service and had to change the same main part 2/3 times a year!!! Dreadful.you have one pot of money for an extra 150quid you can get better much better.good luck

What boiler would you suggest, I have money to buy better.. Just fitted over 100 on site & only ever been to a handful of remedials for them. Thanks

Really? We got about 3000 logics on books, not had main hex more than 5 times and they were 3 years ago. Filling loop NRV has been more of an issue and a few flow sensors.

What about the leaking diverter valves that blow the electrics as it takes out the black actuator head/bulb on front pcb/spark gens +ignition/detection probes causing L2/isolating valves snapping off on the on/off black spindle/pressure gauge rattling. Fitted 100 and had 90 looked at the other 10 are holiday homes.ripped a few out fitted with other brand and no issue

It sounds like you have made ur mind if you have fitted 100,but Viessmann /intergas seem no issues but everyone has brand in mind

Maybe the issue was the installer.

Diverter valve (wet bit) is below the head. The boot usually keeps it ally dry. U not cleansing system properly? Never had one single hydraulic leak on a logic plus - never fitter a logic combi. Fitted lots of heat and systems too. They are my cascade boiler of choice unless they only want two then it's two 40 cdi regulars

djobe, is that price for Logic + or standard Logic? Plus VAT, Inc VAT?

Ive fitted a few 30's and 35 plus's but couldn't get near that money?!

Where's that from if you don't mind me asking??

I think Logic's are a great little boiler personally......you could do a hell of a lot worse, but there seems to be some Logic haters out there!
