Hello,

Looking for some guidance and help if possible;

We have an Ideal Logic Heat 15, the central heating works fine however the hot water has stopped working.

The status indicator just said '0'.

I noticed the expansion vessel pressure was low so I topped it up to 1bar. Nothing happened. I turned on the heating and the boiler fired, and began to heat the water tank. The usual 'c' plus the light was on.

However, once my wife ran a tap it stopped again. It returned to a status of '0'.

I have tried resetting the boiler, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a contro;l problem rather than a boiler problem. Time to get an engineer in if you're not happy fault finding on heating control systems.

It's your two port valve! In airing cupboard. Nothing to do with boiler. And turning the tap on...... Don't attempt repair as you are way out of your depth. Please take a photo of airing cupboard contents - tank and we shall provide advice.
