been to a logic losing pressure , iv drained boiler regassed expansion tank fired boiler hung around for 40mins all heating on fine holding at 2.5bar put tools away gone home 1hr later phone call its dropped again gone back doesn't look like its blown off, checked vessel all fine hung around again gone home and its done the same, suspect thers a leak under floor somewhere. anyone suggest something eles

Did you check the usual places, PRV, rads etc? If all visable pipework etc is ok, prv not passing then before you rip up the floorboards check the condensate with the boiler off! Pull the rubber hose off the sump and see if there's a constant drip from the sump... If so then heatexchanger's leaking 🙂 Otherwise it's out of sight alas 🙁

:iagree:, early models suffered with leaking hexs check condese connection think members have said ideal have replaced foc

Yes ideal do change for foc ! Problem occurred when casting was shifted to china, unfortunately for the bnp and trade unions the units made in UK were the faulty!
