Called out today to above boiler. Heating fine but no hot water. Hall sensor is flasing red when demand for hot water but thats it. the motorised head moves fine for central heating but nothing for hot water. Could the head still be faulty if it moves for heating? any help appreciated.

I had a few of these now with this problem, new turbine and sensor was installed. But I think it's just the turbine which is failing. I strongly believe they are either getting stuck or wearing thus not spinning consistently at the recommended speed.

thanks. so even if the sensor is lighting it could still be that or flow turbine?
