Does anyone know of a shower tap (early bar type) branded IMI Shower Max?
I switch it on and it runs hot for about 10 seconds then runs cold even though the hot feed from the tank is hot. I suspect it's buggered.
It has a tap on either end - one (right) pointing sideways controls the heat and has a click stop button and one (left) facing front rotates 1/4 turn anti-clock with a tab like thing. Its cheap looking in a cream colour with black taps and has the 1970s/80s about it.
Has anyone seen these, is there a replacement available that uses the same centres that's a swap out in chrome - or anything really?
I've asked a couple of trade counters and they've never heard of it.
