Old Account

hi lads,

i am just wondering if someone know she what size the top immersion has on an indirect hot water cylinder ? Will it be 14" or 27" ?

I cannot see any brand or name on the old copper cylinder.
It blows all the time the fuse and I would like to change the immersion

it just has one immersion which is right on the top.

kind regards

ron

Do not forget Ron the water will only be heated to the depth the element extends too i.e. if you put a 14" / 350mm only the top 350mm will be hot water.

If it provides all their hot water it would need to be a 27" / 675mm, they even do a 30" 750mm x 3kW if you want to get even more.

Check for scale build-up at the bottom mind if its been in for a long time because as soon as the scale pile reaches the elements it will blow due to over heating.

Thank you guys for giving much such nice help again.

I just wasn't too sure whether 14/27" ... I definitely will get the 27" one and will in which condition the cylinder is.

But thanks for all your help
