what a day got a electric shock off a baxi 105 HE,quite a good one,it was showing a ntc fault,isolated the power undid a screw bang,massive electrical fault in the house somethings earthing through the plumbing,then moved on to a y plan tripping the electrics,only few other engineers in before me wirings all to fk,jumps up into the AC nearly take my eye out with the retarded way some ******** has fitted the finger thumb air vent poking out on a right angle,spent 3 hours sorting the wiring have to move on to 3 other breakdowns,tells the old dear(whos had no heating or dhw for 2 days) its working but your 3 ports leaking water into the electrical side so i have bypassed it,your a fit in to get you out of trouble,she starts moaning like ****,some days this job ****es me off

I had the opposite last month, old lass of 92 no heating off her knackered combi, fan gone and taken out pcb as well by the looks of things. No worries she says, best put in a new boiler. Got a later that night from her son, telling me she is going to carry on with no boiler or heating for no, its not an issue!! Who needs kids to look after you in your old age, seems he doesnt want her to spend his inheritance!!

problem? I want to retire one day, I dont throw them up in a morning, take my time to flush the system, ensure all the correct controls are installed, autobypasses, filter, etc etc. Takes time to do a decent job in my opinion.

I see that a lot when kids see the the boiler taking the edge of there share of the old folks cash....I'll leave my kids in debt that'll learn em.

That's a classic alright. Was working in sheltered housing place. Old lady had moved in a few months. Her so. And daughter asked her to try it. The 2 of them then sold all her furniture from her old house so that she couldn't move back if she didn't like it. This family were well to do. I'd say d kids couldn't wait to get their grubby hands on her house.
