paul
I have got them of combination of levering of with sharp screwdrivers chisels etc and a grinding disc in the angle grinder to clean upt hen sandpaper time some times your lucky and it peels of in one bit some times its an hour getting it of in small pieces

Hi. I have had success cutting out, grinding a descent finish on the pipe, cutting a short length of 100 mm, then cutting it length ways and clipping it around the pipe and hole using solvent weld

yeah take your time though, cos it really can be a nightmare if you damage the stack and have to replace a lot more than quoted for
🙁

blow lamp. hot permit permitting. heat the boss, peel it off around a pair of pliers, same as taking fitting out of sockets !

i remember once i tried peeling one off with a screwdriver and heat, ended up cracking the old plastic soil pipe about a meter either side of the boss. learnt that lesson quickly. luckily i had a spare length of soil pipe at home. it was a favor for a friend to so mates rates were quoted, think i broke even with that job. 🙄

its for my parents so no price either way how likely am i to gety success with a heat gun the stack is only a couple of years old need to change the from 3/4 to 1 1/4 for condense. moving it is not viable really not enough room.

might be worth trying to get the reducer out first then if that fails move on to the boss then when that fails two fernco rubbers and a boss lol

Last desperate chance before it ends up being a mega job if space is that restricted is to use cellulose thinner on the joining/mating surface. cellulose loves to eat the solvent as it is very agressive but also loves to eat pvc and any pv compound. tricky and not good for you skin. use a syringe to apply it and be patient🙂
